Bec Hughes is a talented Australian artist with a passion for water, surfing, and creativity. As a self-proclaimed water baby and surfaholic, Bec draws inspiration from her love of water and the natural world to create vibrant and emotive paintings.

Bec's artistic career began in the commercial world, where she worked as an illustrator, designer, and commercial artist. However, after losing almost everything in the east coast floods of 2022, she was inspired to paint from the heart and focus on what truly mattered in life.

Her paintings reflect her love for water and surfing and celebrate the strength and beauty of being a woman. Using reworked life drawings, Bec recognizes women from all over the world in her art.
